A convoy of trailers and buses is stationed at the Wya Welcome Centre parking lot at the Tofino-Ucluelet junction, indicating the presence of a movie crew for the shooting of scenes for the popular Twilight vampire series.
Toni Atterbury, publicist for the movie, was able to confirm that filming for the fourth and fifth movies in the series is taking place. Breaking Dawn, the final installment in the movie series based on the books by Stephenie Meyer, will be released as two separate films, with the first slated for release in theatres Nov. 18, 2011.
The saga stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

"This is Twilight," said Atterbury. Atterbury was mum on answering further questions in terms of how long crews would be filming in the area or where the actual filming is taking place.
"We are actually trying not to attract any attention," added Atterbury, who said attention could mean a need for additional security.
The buses and trailers, some marked "Vancouver Mobile Dressing Rooms," were stationed at the junction as of Thursday morning.
It appears the filming is taking place elsewhere, but crew, including security, are tight-lipped on details.
"They're filming something somewhere," said one security member, who said he couldn't comment any further because of confidentiality terms.
