Kristen Stewart in Marios Schwab, Barbara Bui, J. Mendel & Roberto
Cavalli
She’s come a long way from unkempt grungy hair (cough-mullet-cough), the same shoes with every dress (oh, how I miss you t-strap Chanel pumps), chipped nail polish, and the day-old eyeliner look. Kristen Stewart turned a glamorous page during the press tour for “Breaking Dawn”.
During the ceremony for her hand and foot-printing at the Grauman Chinese Theatre in November, Kristen showed off a shortened sexy netted dress by Marios Schwab and a pair of killer pin heel velvet black pumps by Brian Atwood. She changed into sneakers for the actual printing but not before we got this great shoe shot.
For the Los Angeles premiere Kristen shimmered in my favorite look from J. Mendel‘s spring 2012 collection, a sequined brushstroke black and iris dress with a super high thigh slit to show off her black Jimmy Choo heels. She slipped back into those Choo’s for the London premiere where she paired them with a gorgeous sequin and beaded black Roberto Cavalli gown. This was one of my Best of 2011 red carpet looks!
If only her Barbara Bui skirt had been seen on the red carpet! In one of the best outfits I’ve ever seen her in, Kristen wore a black and white beaded fringe mini skirt from Barbara’s spring 2012 collection with a draping black blouse by 3.1 Phillip Lim for an appearance on “The Ellen Show”. While I’m not the biggest fan of the pairing between the skirt and top — I will say that the skirt, black tights, and black leather pin heel Brian Atwood pumps make it all worthwhile. She may be known for showing off her long slender legs, but she shouldn’t be afraid to wear tights much more in the future.

Robert Pattinson in Gucci, ACNE & Seize sur Vingt
The studly Robert Pattinson wore a lot of black and grey for the tour, but there were three looks that stood out clear for me. Actually, it would’ve been four had we got some red carpet shots of him in his Gucci suit at the Swedish fan event back in October. No wait, I’m lying… he totally made my Best Dressed Men list in his Emporio Armani from the London premiere.
Maybe I should just back on up and say that there are three looks I want to draw focus to? Yeah, that works.
Rob was dashing on the black carpet at the Los Angeles “Breaking Dawn” premiere in his dark ink Gucci suit and complimenting grey dress shirt and slate gray tie.
When Rob took to NYC for an interview on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”, he brought his custom black “Wall St.” suit by ACNE to a more casual level by pairing it with a henley and t-shirt. Thank goodness for the photographer who caught this action shot of Robert heading to his seat so that I was able to appreciate him from his head to his Ferragamo clad toes.
Robert joined his co-star Taylor Lautner for a premiere in Berlin before going on break to enjoy the holidays. For the final premiere of the tour he was suave in a black suit by Seize sur Vingt that he wore with a white button-down dress shirt and jazzed it up with a nice dark grey tie. Shiny patent shoes finished off his look.
