Robert Pattinson is the victim of a death hoax.
Two different gross pranks from Global Associated News — one claiming Pattinson died in a car accident, another saying the actor was in a fatal snowboard crash — are circulating online.
The stories are 100% fake.
Pattinson is NOT dead.
These horrible Twitter- and Facebook-fueled death hoaxes, which have “killed” dozens of celebrities (some repeatedly) over the last couple of years are totally unfunny, and represent the worst tendencies of Internet rumor culture.
We hope the pranks die out at some point.
