2018 ROBSTEN REUNION: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart ‘spotted in a bar having a drink together’

Be still our Twilight-loving hearts – Edward and Bella have reunited! 

Five years after their massively public split after it emerged Kristen had been caught cheating, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been seen enjoying a cosy drink together in LA and Twilight fans are positively losing it. 

Gobsmacked drinkers couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw the pair in the small bar and took to Twitter to share their shock at seeing the ‘friends hanging out’.

One fan tweeted: ‘Was just at bar enjoying my friends birthday and in comes Robert Pattinson which blew my twilight mind up, and then Kristen Stewart walked in and now I’m reliving my highschool twilight fantasies.’

While some questioned whether it was true, someone shared that the place was so tiny it would have been ‘rude’ to take a snap. But enough fans tweeted the sighting that it appears to have been legitimate.

Another wrote: ‘When you’re just innocently at a bar in LA and suddenly Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart appear right in front of you. EDWARD AND BELLA IN THE SPARKLY FLESH.’ (sic).’ 

What does this even mean? Have they finally put Kristen’s cheating scandal behind them? 

The pair were last pictured together in public in 2012, and just a year later split following the discovery that Kristen had cheated on Rob with director Rupert Sanders. 

They’d dated for for four years at the time of their split and Twilight lovers were absolutely devastated when they decided end their romance.

In March 2017, Kristen finally spoke of her relationship, telling  The Sunday Times: ‘When I was dating Rob, the public were the enemy—and that is no way to live. 

‘I didn’t talk about my first relationships that went public because I wanted things that are mine to be mine.

‘I would have kept my life private for ever. But then I can’t walk outside holding somebody’s hand, as I’m followed everywhere.’ 

Her cheating scandal came to light in 2012, before they split in 2013. After it surfaced – Kristen was caught kissing Rupert by paps – they both issued a public apology. 

According to People, Kristen said: 

‘I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. 

‘This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, 

Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.’
